Compassionate Health Initiatives (CHI) is a Delaware-based non-profit organization founded in 2019, building on the legacy of Hands International (established in 2005). We are driven by the belief that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, regardless of geography or economic status.
Through short-term medical missions and long-term partnerships, we provide critical care, train local healthcare professionals, and empower communities to address health disparities at their roots. Passion, Partnership and Mission
CHI is proud to continue the impactful work of Hands International, which has conducted mission trips to Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean since 2005. Hands International has brought teams of medical professionals to underserved communities worldwide, providing essential healthcare services, health education, and a message of hope. Together, CHI and Hands International have served communities in countries such as Ghana, Guyana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, and more.
By combining the expertise and resources of dedicated medical professionals, volunteers, and local partners, we create a synergy that maximizes our impact. Our past missions, including the successful 2018 initiative that inspired CHI’s founding, demonstrate our commitment to delivering sustainable healthcare solutions and fostering holistic community development.
